Travel plans coming along. Thank goodness for a librarian sister! Looks like the best bet is for me to fly to Dallas, the parents to fly to Dallas and then all of us fly to Seattle. Then we'll rent a car and drive to Victoria/Vancouver.

Thanks to those of you that gave me ideas about traveling to BC. Still soliciting suggestions, so feel free to chime in.

Hee, that's from the show Due South - so the characters are Detective Ray Kowaslki (played by Callum Keith Rennie) and Constable Benton Fraser (played by Paul Gross). It is still one of my favorite shows, though long since off the air.

I remember watching Due South when I was...how old? I was in the third grade. Sometime in the '90s. Cool.

South Park is also great fun. Did you see the special Canadian episode, and government funding was so tripe that the Mountie had to ride a sheep? Sad!
