Kicking asses and taking names

Well, mostly it's my own ass that's getting kicked. RL has been a bit of a trial recently, thus the dearth of postings for so long.

Of the good:
I'm rediscovering my Due South love and spent some time this past weekend watching the Pilot and the first four episodes of Season 1.

Progress on the re-issue of Matters of the Blood is fabulous. I got my cover art a few days ago, which I will share when I have the final version. In short: I love it! According to the chief editor, Sean, they are working on final edits now and then "we're hitting the ground running". Release is scheduled for March 2007. w00t!

My sis graduates this week and may actually have a librarian job at the end of it all. Budget time for the library where she volunteers and the director loves her. She'll know soonish (in a few weeks) whether or not the budget allows for her hire.

Happy Birthday to those I missed - tx_tart rhiannon_jehane and ilexa - I hope your days were extra-great!

Oh, btw, I've been Voxxing like everyone else and have bopped around and found a few of you guys. If I've missed you, it's due to my lack o'brain power. Please feel free to add me to the neighborhood. I'm "chickwriter" there, too.
