Making the Baby Jesus cry

Today was a day of frustration and aggravation.

Some work stuff:
-- 3 of our most senior developers are out (2 at a client meeting out of town; one on vacation) - what happens some weird ass server glitch. Thank goodness our IT Director and Network admin (bheerfan) were there.

Non-work stuff:
-- I got my new RAM chip in for Blanche (the iBook) - splurged on 1GB chip. Excited - take it home, it's the WRONG FREAKING CHIP! Checked my order online - correct chip. They put the wrong thing in the package.

-- So, I decide to play the Netflix movie I got today - Lilies. The DVD is broken!! Cracked like a crack 'ho.

Now, my freakin' wireless connection cratered, so I had to dig out the extra network cable and connect Blanche to the router.

I give up. I'm going to crawl into bed and read something distracting.
