Dar Williams was amazing. Her opening act, Girlyman, was awesome. Such wonderful energy.

Of course, it didn't hurt that J got there early, so I was pretty much about 4' from the stage. If it had been a Hard Core Logo concert, Joe would have spit on me. ::g::

Oh, and this morning, after a bit of insomnia....I decided to be proactive and pay bills before I go into work. Except no direct deposit in my checking account. WTF?

I sent an urgent e-mail to my Director of Admin and cc'd my boss (the CEO). This happened once before, some screw up with the distro and bank wasn't processing or some such. DAMN IT.

Not a happy chickwriter. However, I have every faith in my ability to get my pay today. Can you say "determined"? ::g::

ETA: Money appeared magically at 9:00 a.m. - which is not normal for my bank. Usually, it's in at midnight:01 of payday. Still panning to follow up.

In other news, the woman that wanted to buy my Dell PC bailed and never called/showed up/e-mailed. Grr Bloody ARRGH!!!!

Tomorrow night: shopping for charity with darthrami and strange_selkie. There will be dinner involved, if not the purchase of a new lamp.
