Still waiting
Jul. 17th, 2005 06:47 pmNo HBP for me yet. My UK copy shipped on Friday. My US copy will probably arrive sometime next week from Mysterious Galaxy. I am doing the major avoidance of news, LJ posts, etc.
Spent yesterday in Baltimore at Mystery Loves Company. Book signing for several authors from my publishing house. Had fun, despite the torrential downpour. Our publisher treated us all to an early dinner at Timmy's - a local Fells Point restaurant just on the water. One of the authors is from Ohio and hadn't been to this part of B'more before. He was nearly squeeing over the familiar H:LOTS scenery. ::g::
We also all got all fanboy/grrly - discussing SciFi shows, old fan stuff, etc. Fun crowd.
Got home at 6:30 and watched the SciFi Friday premieres. Eeeee!
(No spoilers below)
I think I'm going to be fighting several of you for Rodney, because, gah. He totally flips my geek switch!
I ignored plot holes and just enjoyed a fun ride. SG1 - don't really know the show much, aside from general exposure and what
bheerfan has told me. I'm only starting to watch S1 DVDs. However, Claudia Black is teh hot in leather. Just sayin'
BSG was intense.
I will have to go back and re-watch at some point when I'm not so beat.
Today was definitely for relaxing and napping.
